Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how WellLog handles information when you use our health and wellness application. The app is designed to help you record and view wellness information such as blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, weight, BMI, and related health trends.
Summary
WellLog does not upload your health records, heart-rate measurement results, camera images, photos, or other personal health content to our cloud servers. Your health entries and app records are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them yourself. We only use a device identifier and limited technical crash information to diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve app stability.
Information We Process
The app may process the following information to provide its functions:
- Health entries you add in the app, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, weight, BMI, dates, notes, and related trend records.
- Camera access while you use heart-rate or pulse-related features.
- App settings and preferences saved on your device.
- Device identifier, crash logs, app version, device model, operating system version, and other basic technical information needed for crash diagnosis and app stability.
Camera Permission
Some features may request camera permission during use, for example when estimating heart rate or pulse by using the camera sensor. The camera is used only while the feature is active.
- We do not take photos or record videos through this feature.
- We do not save camera images or video frames.
- We do not upload camera images, video frames, or heart-rate detection images to our cloud servers.
- You can deny or revoke camera permission in your device settings. If camera permission is denied, camera-based features may not work.
How We Use Information
We use information only for the following purposes:
- To let you record, view, and manage wellness information on your device.
- To show charts, trends, and history based on the information you enter or measure in the app.
- To support camera-based heart-rate or pulse features while you actively use them.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, improve performance, and maintain app security by using a device identifier and limited technical crash information.
Local Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Your health records and wellness data are stored locally on your device. We do not keep this health data on our cloud servers.
- Local health records and app preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app data, or uninstall the app.
- You can delete records inside the app where deletion controls are available.
- You can delete locally stored app data by going to your device settings and clearing WellLog's app data.
- You can remove locally stored data by uninstalling WellLog from your device.
- Crash logs and device identifiers used for crash diagnosis are retained only as long as necessary to analyze app stability, fix errors, maintain security, and meet legal or operational requirements.
Sharing and Third-Party Processing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your local health records, camera data, photos, or heart-rate measurement images with third parties.
Limited technical information, such as a device identifier and crash logs, may be processed by crash-reporting or diagnostics service providers solely to help us identify crashes, fix bugs, and improve app stability. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and our instructions.
